Tåsi Talk Speech & Language Services
Welcome, bienbinidu, bienvenido, and ようこそ!
Tåsi Talk is rooted in the belief that language and culture connect us—just as the ocean links islands and cultures. My goal at Tåsi Talk is to empower individuals to communicate and participate in daily activities with confidence and authenticity. I strive to support the goals of each and every client and family while honoring their voice, culture, and story.
My name is Melia, and I am so excited to talk about what virtual speech and language therapy will look like for you and your family.
I’m a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) serving clients across the lifespan—from young children to older adults. My background includes experience with English Linguistics, education, and a Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts. I bring my love and deep respect for identity, connection, and communication to every session. I’ve supported students from Pre-K through high school and now work with both pediatric and adult clients, addressing challenges like stuttering & language disorders, dysphagia, and cognitive-linguistic impairments. I am certified by ASHA and am a certified provider of SPEAK OUT! for Parkinson's Disease. Licensed in Massachusetts and California (with Guam on the horizon), I provide personalized, culturally responsive care that centers clients and their families. I strive to create a warm, affirming space where every voice is valued—and I’m so glad you’re here.

I support healthcare teams in implementing culturally responsive, refining interdisciplinary communication, and enhancing quality of care.
With a background as both a teacher and an SLP serving preschool through high school students, I offer consulting to help educational teams create supportive, neurodiversity-affirming communication environments. With experience providing support with socio-emotional communication, alternative and augmentative communication, autism support, language development, and culturally responsive strategies, I help schools and teams strengthen inclusive practices, collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members, and build communication supports to maximize student participation while honoring individual strengths and identity.
